I would like to welcome you back for another year at Acorn’s Playschool. We are re-opening on Monday 28th of August 2023 at 9-00 am or 9.30 AM for ECCE: and are looking forward to meeting everybody. We hope that you all enjoyed your Summer break and are looking forward to starting the new term with us.
For anybody who no longer requires their place could they please let us know as soon as possible as places are limited. We would appreciate this as we have a waiting list who are anxious to take a place as soon as it becomes available.
A list of holidays will be given to you at the start of the year. Our holidays include all bank holidays and we run them in parallel to the national schools in the area.
For anybody availing of the ECCE Scheme you will receive your form from us in September and you can take it home to fill in. Please have your child’s PPSN handy as they do need to returned quite quickly. All of Acorn’s Playschools are sent in at the same time so if unsure whether you are taking up a place this year you will have a week to decide.
We also hand out a permission slip at the start of the year for you to sign. This allows us to take photos of your child within the playschool setting .These photos go home with you the parent at the end of the year. They are only used for the Birthday Board, for holding their work and in general on the door so they can recognise themselves at play. If you do not want your child photographed please let us know and we will not do so.
